Internationally Renowned Gospel Artists Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans Coming to South Africa

Two multi-award winning internationally renowned gospel artists Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans will be visiting South Africa in a few weeks from now. This duo will be performing in Durban on the 31st of May 2013 at the Jesus Dome. They will grace Johannesburg on the 2nd of June 2013.

Donnie McClurkin is an American gospel music singer and minister. He has won three Grammy awards, two BET awards, two Soul Train awards, one Dove award and one NAACP Image award for his work. He was hired as an associate minister at Marvin Winans’ Perfecting Church in Detroit, in 1989. McClurkin served as an assistant to Winans for over a decade. He has also appeared on numerous TV productions. His songs include Great Is Thy Mercy, Stand, Didn’t You Know, I Call You Faithful and many more.

No stranger to the Gospel scene, Priscilla “CeCe” Winans who is also an American gospel singer and songwriter, has won numerous awards, including Grammys and Stellar Awards. She’s also an author, actress and talkshow host. She promises to grace the Mzansi audience with her greats such as Mercy Said No, Throne Room; Holy Spirit, Come, Fill This Place, Great Is Thy Faithfulness and more.

Organisers, World Gospel Powerhouse President, Zanele Mbokazi said “We started back in 2010 with Shirley Ceaser, then Juanita Bynum last year, and now – we are bringing the giants. This will be a spectacular worship night with the Word being provided by Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule. This is in line with our goal of continuously pushing i-agenda yeZulu (Heavenly agenda),” concluded  Zanele.
