All three PSL encounters that took place on Tuesday ended with draws. But this was turned around on Wednesday as all five clashes ended with wins.

The big celebrations amongst the five teams that collected maximum points came from the busy Orlando Pirates who saw their first win of PSL when they smacked down the newly promoted Polokwane City, thanks to Rooi Mahamutsa for his lone goal of the match.

Bucs came to this clash angry as a wounded lion because of the defeat they suffered from AC Leopard in Congo Brazaville in the Champions league on Saturday. Roger De Sa’s cadres needed to win against Polokwane City to console their die-hard fans.

Bucs are now placed in position 14 of the log with just three points from two games. Problems are piling up for Polokwane City who are feeling the heat in the psl as they have haven’t bagged any points and they remain the only clan with no points in the log campaign.

The busy buccaneers will host the dangerous All Ahly on Sunday in a must-win encounter for Bucs to keep their hopes of conquering Africa live at Orlando Stadium at 15h00. Bad news for Bucs fans is that if they fail to claim three points from All Ahly their dreams will be shattered.

Meanwhile, the struggling Polokwane City will be looking to get their first win of the psl when they lock horns with the 15th placed Ajax Cape Town on Sunday at Peter Mokaba Stadium at 15H00.
