Gold medalist returns home

Smanga Kumalo — Scores of people are expected to come at OR Tambo international airport tomorrow to welcome Africa’s gold medal-winning swimmers at the 2012 London Olympics.
It is reported that Cameron van der Burgh and Chad le Clos will arrive at the airport by SAA235 around 07:30.
Van der Burgh picked up SA’s first medal of the Olympics when he set a new world record in winning the men’s 100m breast stroke.
Le Clos then added to SA’s success in the pool when he won the gold medal in the men’s 200m butterfly and picked up silver in the 100m butterfly, behind American superstar, Michael Phelps.
