Musa Muzi Khumalo, a murder suspect who fooled cops into believing that he was a brigadier, has died in a prison cell in Pretoria.
According to a press release by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate, Khumalo is believed to have committed suicide.
He was found hanging from his cell window last Friday, the same day he was arrested by the SAPS Head Office Task Team. He allegedly used torn strips from his blanket to hang himself.
