However, it is not going to be an easy encounter for the Glamour Boys as the Urban Warriors threatened to dent Kaizer Chiefs’ hopes of lifting the PSL trophy. However, the Urban warriors will go into the game limping after the newly loaned and on-form Abia Nale was shown a second yellow card of the game resulting to a red card, when Ajax battled with Chippa United in a Cape Derby that ended in a 1-all draw on Saturday the 27th of April. Although the Cape Side will play Kaizer Chiefs without the services of loanee, Abia Nale, Mushin Ertugral is relieved to have his chargers, Lance Davids and Granwald Scott back ahead of the encounter with his former team.
If Kaizer Chiefs win against Ajax Cape Town they will move to 59 points thus making it a huge mountain to climb for Platinum Stars who are also hoping to lift the PSL trophy come end of the season. Platinum Stars who are currently in the second position in the log with 50 points will throw everything they have on Maritzburg United when these two sides meet on Wednesday at 19h30 at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the effort of getting the much needed three points.
Dikwena(Platinum Stars) need not to be reminded that if they lose to Maritzburg United and Amakhosi manage to win against Ajax Cape Town, the Naturena based side will be crowned the 2012/2013 PSL Champions. But if Dikwena wins and Kaizer Chiefs loses then the title race will hot up.
