Recent reports indicate that there may be a possibility of Julius Malema being reinstated in the near future. It is alleged that deputy president Kgalema Motlante, Treasurer Matthews Phosa and North West premier and ANC deputy secretary general Thandi Modise are against the expulsion of Malema and the suspension of his colleagues Sindiswa Magaqa and Floyd Shivambu.

IOL reported that the ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe convened a meeting to disscuss Malemas’s fate. The meeting took place in Centurion on Monday, June 11. The ANC refused to reveal if Malema’s explusion would be discussed in the meeting.
