Petrol truck blaze kills at least 100 people in Nigeria

At least 100 people were killed in Nigeria when a truck carrying fuel tipped over and caught fire. According to reports, the crash occurred after the truck swerved to avoid a collision with oncoming vehicles. Many of those killed were motorcycle taxi operators, known locally as “Okada”, who raced to fill up their tanks after learning of the crash.
