Kaizer Chiefs fans have patiently waited for 8 years to celebrate the victory of being the PSL champions. Amakhosi last lifted the PSL trophy back in 2004/2005 season when Ted Dimutru was the man in-charge. Today (Wednesday) The Glamour Boys will welcome Supersport United at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, where they will be looking for a win or a draw to be crowned as the 2012/2013 season champions.

Kaizer Chiefs are leading the log with 56 points out of 28 games, only suffering two defeats thus far. Bad news for Kaizer Chiefs is that they may have to celebrate without their head coach, Stuart Baxter who was suspended after he allegedly uttered derogatory remarks to the fourth official. Doctor Khumalo will be the man-in-charge in tonight’s clash against Supersport. It will not be a walk in the park for Kaizer Chiefs as Amatsatsantsa are also fighting to stay in the top 8 as they are currently seating in position six with 40 points out of 28 games.

Gavin Hunt’s charges will throw everything they have in their weapon bag at Kaizer Chiefs in the efforts of denting Chiefs’ hopes of celebrating after 90 minutes. Another encounter taking place tonight is, Orlando Pirates who are fighting to end the season at least in position two, the Bucs will welcome the relegation-haunted Black Leopards who will be in search for maximum points tonight. Black Leopards’ fate will be decided by tonight’s clash, they are well aware that if they fail to obtain maximum points, it is goodbye PSL to them.
