South Africa’s swimming sensation and 2012 Olympic champion, Chad le Clos has again lifted the South African flag high in the 15th edition of World Championships Games that are currently underway in Barcelona, Spain.

The Durban-born, 21 year old swimmer who’s like a fish in the water grabbed a gold medal, in the men’s 200 metres butterfly on Wednesday in Barcelona.

Chad touched in a time of one minute 54, 32 seconds, following him was, Pawel Korzeniowski from Poland with 1:55.01 thus taking silver, and in the third position was Wu Peng of China who touched in 1:55.09.

Chad le Clos shot to fame when he snatched the gold medal in the men’s 200 metres butterfly, during the 2012 Olympics which were held in London when he outplayed amongst others the bowed-to American swimmer, Micheal Phelps who ended in position two.
