Rethabile Matlala


Rethabile Matlala aka Social Angel is a journalist/ blogger and editor. She is currently specialising in Communications (Integrated Marketing, Media and PR/ Communications), where she is currently engaging with different stakeholders; NGOs, CBOs, youth organisations, just to mention a few. She aims to improve social issues in the country, work closely in areas of youth development and entrepreneurship.

She has previously worked as a ghost writer, voice over artist, including being a brand ambassador for Vodacom Color and her writing has appeared on different blogs, including her own personal blog.

Before graduating from the University of Johannesburg, she worked as a journalist and editor for local newspapers, including the campus newspaper “UJ Observer”. In her spare time, Social Angel enjoys writing, motivational talks, MCing, dancing, travelling and meeting new people.
