ASAP Rocky drops A.L.L.A a week early

A week ahead of its expected June 2nd release date, ASAP Rocky has dropped his much awaited second album titled At.Long.Last.Asap. Hours before the release he announced on his Twitter feed that the album would be available and in stores at midnight. His tweet read,”Official album release In stores and online@midnight tonight, thanx for listening, hope yahl enjoyed. Bless… A$VP X Life X RIP yams,”

The tweet was posted 3:16 AM 26 May 2015 in the morning for the follow-up album to his much loved Long.Live.Asap. Several songs from the new album were released before the release date of the album itself, songs like “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2” released January 7th, “M’S” released April 10th and “Everyday” released on may 8th. The album was recorded from 2014-15 by label A$AP Worldwide and RCA records and features producers ASAP Rocky, Juicy j, Mike Dean, Kanye West, Frans Mernick as well as the late Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez and many more. Guest appearances are from artists Kanye West, M.I.A, Schoolboy Q, Lil Wayne, Miguel, UGK, Mos Def and more.

ASAP Rocky confirmed on March 16 that he was working on this album with his mentor Steven “A$AP Yams” Rodriguez who unfortunately died at the age of 26, with the cause of death being codeine and xanax overdose. Weeks after his death, Rocky announced that he, Juicy J and Danger Mouse will be part of the production of the album alongside himself.
