Maluti FET College, who play in the SAFA second division (Vodacom League), made history after beating Soweto giants Orlando Pirates 4 – 1 at Charles Mopeli Stadium on Saturday, eliminating them from the Nedbank Cup.

Although Pirates created many chances, they failed to convert them into goals. They scored only one goal in the second half. Maluti scored two goals both in the first and second halves.

Lucky Mokoena and Mashale Rantabane of Maluti scored two goals each. Pirates’ goal was scored by Oupa Manyisa.

After this match, KickOff reported that Pirates coach Roger de Sa and his technical team were summoned to a meeting by the team’s management to answer for the team’s poor performance.
