No hopes of winning the league for Chiefs

Only a miracle can see Kaizer Chiefs win the league this season. Lately their performance has been going from bad to worse. On Saturday the 28th SuperSport United beat them by 2-1, annihilating their hopes of winning the league. They have lost four consecutive matches. This is the longest losing streak since the club was founded. The two goals for SuperSport were scored by Hartog and Erasmus and the one for Chiefs was scored by Majoro. Chiefs are now sitting at the 6th position. Behind them are Bloemfontein Celtic, AmaZulu and Ajax Cape Town. Celtic have 38 points and AmaZulu and Ajax both have 37 points. If Chiefs don’t pull up their socks one of these teams may displace them from their current position, putting them at risk of not being part of the MTN Super 8.
